CeeCee's Testimony

Good evening Sister Sherry, thank you so much for this bible study!!! This has blessed my life! Just wanted to share my testimony with you. 

In August 2012, my husband accepted a job in North Carolina! At the time I was pregnant with my baby girl and we already had a 4 year old and a 2 year old. Michalyn started at GRACE, in kindergarten and that’s how I met so many of the wonderful ladies. My husband’s job become stressful but he just believed God sent us there. Well his job phased in 2014! And Michael has just received his 403 money from a company he used to work for in Memphis and they were closing the account out so they gave every employee their lump sum. So we received that in April 2014 and his job phased September 2014. We were devastated, here we were with a young family and not only that we had a new baby. She was born in 2013. 

We lived off of the 403 money as long as we could and things got a little tough. We continued to give, and pay tithes and trust God! I literally had a prayer closet in our home. I prayed in everyday and night. 

Michael was looking for work and so was I. Finally after reaching out to his old CEO in Memphis, there was a position for him in Texas. We prayed and in September 2016 we moved to Coppell, Texas. Things were going well, and then things took a turn when the CEO left and a new one came in. We prayed and cried out to the Lord!

2019 was a rough year! Financially things got hard again and our town home flooded in October, And in November I had a car accident, I was sideswiped on the expressway. My and my girls were hurt and my vehicle was damaged. With all of that happening, it got to me and I was rushed to the ER. I was told I had protein leaking from my heart so they did several EKG’s every hour for 8 hours! Long story short, ...lol

God was with us then and he had a plan, like he always does!

My husband was offered a position here in Memphis, On Dec 15! And in the offer included another promotion for 2021 to  CEO which is why the enemy is fighting him. Michael prays before making any decisions at work and he always gives his honor to the Lord! Without him he couldn’t do it!

So we prayed and accepted it on Dec 20! The company moved us on Jan 9 and 10. Michael started working on Jan 13, we got our babies in a Christian School that reminds me so much of GRACE, and then the virus came. 

We wondered why God moved us so quickly and smoothly! 

We are here with family and God has done mighty things already since we have been here! I’m so grateful for his love, grace and mercy!!

Thank you for welcoming me in, In all that we have been through, Michael and I are still in our right minds because God kept us!!! So I owe him my life!!! 

My youngest baby is 7, she is a praise worshipper. She sings! And she sings straight to the Lord! 

I mentioned that because we haven’t lived in Memphis in 7 years! And God brought us back here in this season.
