21 Days of Praise and Fellowship: Day 7

Good Morning Sisters,

Lord, on this day in which we honor mothers, may we love and cherish the special women who have born us, who have nurtured us, and who have prayed for our well-being. May our hearts overflow with gratitude to you, who formed and knitted each of us in a mother’s womb. We pray you give each mom strength. We ask you to be the daily bread of tired mothers. May each mother find rest in you. Amen.

Proverbs 31:25 "She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.”

“God’s anointing comes out of the FIRE and the brokenness.” This is such a deep and powerful statement that Jen made last night as she taught on God’s anointing.”  It resonated deep within my spirit as we all saw that FIRE in her last night as she talked about her own journey of pain and brokenness. Later the Lord reminded me of what the Prophet Bill Alsop had spoken over Jen at our Wednesday night study on Feb. 28th, 2018. He said there is a full blown WARRIOR in you! God has given you a Joan of Arc sword...meaning there is a leadership anointing on you. God will teach you to wield that sword on the battlefield.” And oh boy has He ever! He also saw burning coals of fire coming out of her. We SAW what He prophesied more than two years ago. We surely saw that FIRE! That fire that burns with JOY and an EXUBERANCE for the Lord that is so contagious! As Ashley Shuell said “she’s giddy for the Lord.” You want whatever she’s got because you can visibly see HIM in HER!

We started with a little crazy warfare last night before the call. The enemy saw the great anointing on Jen’s life and tried his best to thwart our time with her. Zoom now requires a password to access the call and people were having issues getting on. Needless to say, we started about 10 minutes late, but guess what the Lord did? Once we logged back on we had UNLIMITED TIME!!! We went from 40 minutes to unlimited time! Such a testimony to the goodness of God! What the enemy tried to take He not only restored but gave back MORE!!!  God’s RESOURCES ARE UNLIMITED!!! His love is unstoppable!

I really loved hearing about Jen’s “World Race” testimony and how God used her injured knee to orchestrate all kinds of diving opportunities. She gave some beautiful examples of how God uses the broken pieces of our lives to transform and bring life to others. For those of you who could not get on last night I am including her notes below.

Today is day 7 of our “21 Days of Praise and Fellowship." Rita Hanshumaker will be leading. Tonight is our last night for a week. We will start back on Monday, May 11th (I'll send out a new link).

Jen's Notes Anointing Word Oil in our lamps Anointing is nothing about striving only about abiding, full surrender. After God made man, he rested, He wants us to REST in HIM!  When God said,” this is my Son with whom I am well pleased.” It was before Jesus even started his ministry. It is about Sonship, not striving! Identity as a Son and Daughter of the King! Heidi Baker spoke at my church a few years ago and talked about not comparing our anointing with other people. She brought a big guy up on stage and traded shoes with him and wore his shoe the whole time she spoke and said that we need to walk in our anointing in our shoes not someone else’s. God has an anointing for you - Jeremiah 1:5  Before you were in your mother’s womb He set you apart as a prophet to the nations. Fix eyes straight ahead I heard the Helsers (worship leaders/musicians) say that anointing comes out of fire Brokenness - going on a World Race a mission trip around the world - my biggest fear - what if I can’t exercise - injured my knee and could barely walk before I left. My blog was called Walking by Faith and the ironic thing was when I left walking took faith. We have to decide to follow even if we can barely walk.   *Read 2 Corinthians 4:7-18 - All surpassing GLORY in jars of clay! We fix our eyes on the unseen, on the Eternal! It wasn’t fun being vulnerable with a new group of people and needing help and prayer often. However, every time I needed prayer for my knee it caused us to pray about other things too. Knowing we need God is a God thing!  When we are weak, He is STRONG! At the end of the World Race some friends were running a race in South Africa to end our race, I didn’t sign up because even then walking up hills was hard for me etc., but God told me to run in faith I would be healed without my knee brace. So I told him, okay God I will, but I need rainbows in the sky, and I need to know you are with me because it is either going to be healing or the hospital, and the only reason why the hospital would be okay is if I would meet my husband, lol:). There were literally 3 rainbows while I was running! The whole race was on hills, and it was a miracle I was able to finish. I had two friends that ran with me, my whole squad was waiting for me at the finish. It was like a movie. I am attaching pictures to this email from that day!:) A few years ago one of my friends from the race got this word that I love: Ok, so the other day, I prayed for a word for you. I got a huge waterfall, and one of those wooden pallets (you know, the ones used for freight in stores and that people like to craft with). The pallet fell down the waterfall and broke into lots of pieces. I didn't know what it meant until today. A flimsy pallet seems like kind of a silly thing to go over a huge waterfall-of course it's going to break. The pallet is you, and the waterfall is some big trial or obstacle. It looks crazy and insurmountable. You have to have faith even going into it. The water is rough at the top, and as you fall over the edge, you are falling in faith. You break up at the bottom, and it's hard to understand or see why the Lord had you go through that. But He is doing something new in you. As the wooden pieces float out from the waterfall, some wash onto the shore where they are picked up by animals for shelter. A camper gathers some for firewood. Some pieces are broken down in the water, becoming food for fish, who become food for other animals. Your broken pieces which seemed broken and useless are transformed into things giving life. The Lord wants you to use this trial or obstacle to give life to others around you, just like He did on the cross. Fill me up Lord - You provide the fire - I’ll provide the sacrifice - fill me up God Friend from Raleigh but currently lives in South Korea also had a vision this week that I feel like summarizes what God is doing! I had a vision this week during prayer of a dam that couldn't hold back the waters anymore. The waters rushed forth with such ferocity that they broke that dam wide open as they poured through. Then I heard the Lord say, "My love is unstoppable!" I believe the Lord is saying that there have been man-made things in our lives preventing us from receiving the outpouring of God's love that He has for us. But the time is here for us to receive it, friends. Whether it's ideologies or idols- God's love is breaking through them with the hammer of his word like a mighty rushing river breaks rocks into pieces. Let his love wash over you today and it will destroy all of the things that you have put before him. Those earthly things won't last- they can't hold up under the weight of his love. Don't resist the move of the Holy Spirit that is coming. Step into the free flow of God's refreshing river of grace. You'll be so changed that the world will take notice! The breakthrough is on its way! When it comes, don't rebuild that dam- when we try to limit a move of God, we are putting ourselves before him and bondage becomes normal again. Just say yes to His love. It's coming and you will never be the same! *Prophetic word -  Someone told me I am seated at a banquet table, but my hands are under the table and God is saying take the cup I have prepared for you!  God wants us to receive His LOVE and ALL that comes with it! Back to anointing - a friend of mine had received words that she would have a anointing/mantel similar to Heidi Baker. - Iris Ministries Mozambique One day she ran into Heidi Baker at the airport in a little snack shop, and Christina, my friend, needed a neck pillow and Heidi gave her her neck pillow! That story blesses me because a neck pillow is like a mantel and I believe it is symbolic of the anointing on my friend, Christina’s life. She is in a season right now where everything has been stripped from her and she is just waiting on the Lord. No job, car, or anything. I believe this emptying and building of her dependence on her Father is preparing her for a HUGE MINISTRY! Nothing left of ourselves - All Jesus -  So we won’t question Him - or doubt him  The woman who anointed Jesus’ feet and broke the alabaster jar of expensive perfume is such a beautiful example of anointing. Luke 7:44-47 New International Version (NIV) 44 Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. 45 You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. 46 You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. 47 Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.”  I love how all the gospels give different perspectives about the same stories! In the Matthew account of this story He says:  “I tell you the truth wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.” Matthew 26:13 We must decrease - he must increase God is pouring out new wine in new wineskins Greenhouse season for the believers ALL JESUS!!! Hills and valleys song -  On the mountains, I will bow my life To the one who set me there In the valley, I will lift my eyes to the one who sees me there When I'm standing on the mountain aft, didn't get there on my own When I'm walking through the valley end, no I am not alone! You're God of the hills and valleys! Hills and Valleys! God of the hills and valleys And I am not alone! Entrusted with much we have to be fully sold out for Him What a faithful Savior and what an honor that like others have said he set us apart for such a time as this! Listen to Kari jobe - alabaster jar  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFn3bx6Q-5g Pour out everything to Him 4 other songs I recommend:  Fill me up God https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0fNDeUh7zA He won’t relent https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mM4RjgRyieQ Out of Hiding https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFkDqQtfs0w New Wine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbJaM_EneMw Let’s fill up our jars with oil each day as we sit with the King like the virgins who filled up their lamps with oil. Do not be in a hurry to leave the king's presence. Do not stand up for a bad cause, for he will do whatever he pleases. Ecclesiastes 8:3 I when God says do not be in a hurry to leave HIS Presence:) not that He ever leaves us, but you understand, sitting at His feet. You are anointed and appointed to bring the Good News! How beautiful are your feet!:)
